My Testimony

I was just thinking I've never posted my testimony on my blog, I would like everyone to know about my salvation, and how the Lord Jesus Christ saved me from a life of sin and delivered me from hell. Donnie recently said something in a testimony in church, about how he used to think he didn't have much of a testimony, seeing as he never really lived in what you call deep sin, or anything, and was saved in a Christian home, but now he realizes he has the best! Like Donnie I was saved in a Christian home at the age of 4, I remember it very well. It was in the fall and we were having revival in our church, well after coming home late, Me and Jennifer got to sleep together that night, and like most little girls we started talking before we went to sleep. Jennifer asked me did I want to go to heaven when I died, I said yes. and she told me that Jesus died for me so I could go to heaven, and all I had to do was ask the Lord to forgive me of my sins(the bad things that we do)and ask him to save me. Well I remember praying in the bed beside Jennifer and asking the Lord to save me. When I finished I ran down stairs to Mama and told her all about it, she went through everything to make sure I understood, and I did. I'm so glad the Lord saved me at such a young age, because He not only saved me from hell, but He saved me from a life of sin and despair! I had so much faith when I was little, Daddy and Mama used to tell people if they wanted their prayers answered they should ask me to pray, because I never doubted God. Now I am constantly trying to build up my faith, like it was then. Anyway I'm so glad the Lord saved me, and he can save you, too. It is such a simple faith!
There is always room at the cross!

I've Been Tagged!

I've been tagged by Jennifer to pick the sixth picture out of the sixth folder.
So here it is! Pretty crazy right! This was last year, just acting crazy in the car, I love playing with my camera when I'm bored.
I tag Amber, Ashley, and Dave!

Live With Urgency

I've been wanting to put this video on my blog for awhile now. It's a video tribute to Lee Waller, a student at The Crown College. He was a New Testament Church Pioneer in 2007 and went home to be with the Lord on June 11th, 2007. One reason I wanted to put this on here was because, We need to realize that we should live everyday with urgency, pray with urgency, preach with urgency, because we know not the day or the hour we'll meet our Lord, and I want us never to forget Lee Waller, who had a heart for God and wanted to do his will, and truly lived with urgency.

Home from Youth Conference

I don't have time for a long post, but I wanted to say how absolutely wonderful Youth Conference was. It's so amazing how every sermon had something in it for me, I was so convicted about not doing enough for God, and sometimes when I do something not having the right attitude. I was also convicted about not giving my all, my everything, my life, to the Lord. All my dreams, thoughts, and wants, need to be given to God, too. But you know it's so easy to say all these things, and sound'' oh so spriritual ''about being convicted about them, and never doing anything about it. I hope I can change all these things, and constantly be surrended to God, and willing to serve Him. The last service of the week was yesterday morning, at the end they had everyone that had gotten saved during the meeting to come forward, and over 20 people came forward, then they had all the young men that were called to preach during the week stand up, and several guys stood up! Amen! It was such a blessing, and encouragement to go this week! I feel the Revival fires burning!

A Week In Feminine Dress

Monday
Youth Conference
Gospel Light Baptist Church

Today we had to wear our Conference T-shirts, so though not the most feminine thing you can wear... it can be made feminine. Tonight Bro. Kurt Skelly preached an inspiring message on the Potter and the clay.(Sarah just did that little sentence for me I'm teaching her the wonders of blogging) Anyway it was a really great sermon, what really stuck out to me, is when he was talking about how the clay, is in the middle, and in motion, and how we need to serve the Lord now, and stop worrying about what's down the road 10 years from now. That is so true, so many times we can't be satisfied with what we have now we want, to do bigger and better things. Anyway I have to go Lights out @ 12:00... wonder how many are going obey that... Hmmmm.

Guess Where We Are Going....

We're Going To Youth Conference
@ Gospel Light Baptist Church!!!!!!

Youth Conference Video from WCBC... You can watch the rest of them on youtube, or Wcbc.edu. You can watch 2008, too. Me and Sarah keep acting like Eddie, Saying''It's time For Youth Conference, Bro.Steve!" Be Praying for us as we travel... Bye!

Youth Rally

Yesterday was our 5th Annual Youth Rally.
It was our Best ever!!!!! Bro.Ben Webb preached an excellent message, about the young prophet who didn't choose the right thing, and how important it is to always do God's will, and live to please God. I really think that he preached what God had him preach, and that he lifted God up and not himself. The message really spoke to me, and I pray it really got through to some of the young people there. Our theme was ''Is Anything Too Hard For God?''

and the Fundamental Three sang the song... which is my favorite song. After the service was over, then we all went for Ice Cream. and then the night was over.... I was sad... and very tired.

Today we had a Yard sale early this morning and Made a few extra dollars for Youth Conference, which is next week!!!!!!
Well after the yard sale we had to get all ready for Andrew's Graduation, a friend of the family.
He graduated early, and he's planning on attending PCC in the fall. So please be praying for him, and be praying for Ben and his Family as they travel Home right now, and be praying for us on Monday as we head to Youth Conference! Oh I forgot, I made an email address for my blog, so if anyone would like to email me I just recently added it!
Well here's the pictures from our Youth Rally and also my Friday and Saturday Feminine Dress.

A Week in Feminine Dress

Thursday
Today we went to the church, to get things ready for the Youth Rally, practice our song, and get a few groceries.
I wore a dark denim skirt, with my shirt I got for Graduation. It is so easy to do things in dresses and skirts, I personally think if a lady can't do something in a skirt... she really shouldn't do it.

A Week in Feminine Dress

I wanted to do one of these posts for awhile now, so I finally decided to go ahead and do it.
I wanted to show people how you can dress and be Feminine everyday of the week.
I believe Ladies should dress like ladies and not where anything that pertaineth to a man. I believe they should also dress in modest apparel. I believe in wearing modest, feminine, dresses, or skirts. This is a big issue in many of our Churches, with our Christian ladies. But I believe that the Bible says we are to be separate from the world, and should want to please God and not man.

For example, just the other day...( this has happened several times before) Me, my Sisters, Sarah, and Mama were in WalMart for about 30 minutes, or so and 2 ladies came up to us and asked us were we Christians? This has happened before like I said, one time a man asked me, ''Are you one of God's children?'' I said yes, and he said, '' I knew you were.'' I wonder if Christian Ladies that don't choose to be separate in dress, have ever been stopped and asked that. I know why people stare, so I smile because I want to have the best Christian testimony I can have. In everything, in dress, in attitude, in life. So do you want to dress to please man, or God?

Wednesday

Today I am wearing a Bluejean Button-Up Dress, I bought from Target, with some crazy-patchwork shoes.

Me~Being very Colorful... with my shades and polka-dot purse.
All ready for Prayer Meeting

Sunday, June 7, 2009

It's out of your hands
You've done all you can do,
Given God the problem
It's no longer up to you,
You've prayed the prayer of faith,
Your standing on God's truth
While your waiting on the answer,
He has a question for you...

Is Anything too Hard for God?
Who's got a problem beyond his power to solve,
Are there situations He's not the master of?
Is Anything Too Hard For God?

Only Believe trust His word you'll see,
His plans are now unfolding, performing perfectly
It's clear how much he loves you, Look at all he's done
For all your questions, there's really only one...

Is Anything too Hard for God?
Who's got a problem, beyond His power to solve
Are there situations, He's not the master of ?
Is Anything too Hard for God?

Seven Royal Laws Of Courtship

As you all know I am not your normal 18 year old girl, and I believe that Christians should be separate from the world in everything. But so many times we let the world's conventional thinking slip into our churches. Especially in the Dating Area... We give our heart away, to every Tom, Dick, and Harry, and then when our Prince Charming comes along we only have a little piece to give him and Tom, and Harry still hold pieces that don't belong to them. Though courtship is technically not in the Bible, and every story is different where the Lord brings couples together. I believe courtship is the most Christ honoring way toward marriage, and should only be entered when one is ready for marriage, and prayerfully considers who they enter it with.

The Book Seven Royal Laws of Courtship by Jerry Ross, is one of many good books about this subject. God has a specific person out there for you, but the devil will try and send his very best to try and distract you from God's best. The devil has tried to distract me, especially this year, and though some people say '' why not just go out with him a couple times, and then when the right guy comes along you can just drop him!'' that's not very Christian! I'm waiting for God's best and I don't want to lead someone on, or just have fun and run around with whoever, I want to save my heart!

1.By the Grace of God,I will marry the person God has created for me.

2.By the Grace of God, I will arrive at the marriage altar morally pure.

3.By the Grace of God, I will arrive at the marriage altar prepared to fulfill my responsibilities as a marriage partner.

4.By the Grace of God, our marriage will have the blessings of both sets of parents and our pastors.

5.By the Grace of God, I will have glorified God and maintained an unquestionable Christian testimony throughout my courtship.

6.By the Grace of God, I will give to my partner someone who understands and practices real agape love.

7.By the Grace of God, on my wedding day, I will be in a position to fulfill God's specific calling for my life.
